About Impact Reach
Ronnie M. Rubin, PhD established Impact Reach, LLC to provide consulting services that bridge the work of researchers, policymakers and service providers. She aims to expand the impact of behavioral health and implementation research through strong collaborations and practical problem-solving to reach more people, organizations and systems. She is a consultant and trainer with expertise in implementing evidence-based practices and innovations in healthcare and social service settings. With a background in research, public policy and behavioral health service systems, Dr. Rubin understands how to build partnerships and bridge perspectives to implement innovations that are successful and sustainable.
Dr. Rubin assists organizations and systems with identifying, implementing and sustaining practices that improve service delivery, quality and outcomes. Her consulting services include program and system needs assessment, selecting evidence-based practices, and training and implementation planning. She develops strategies for integrating evidence-based practices into operations, quality standards and financial incentives. She also guides strategic planning, cross-system collaboration, and workforce development efforts to improve access to evidence-based practices.
Ronnie M. Rubin, PhD
Dr. Rubin is a consultant, public speaker and licensed clinical psychologist. She was the founding Director for the Evidence-based Practice and Innovation Center (EPIC), at the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbilities Services (DBHIDS) and Community Behavioral Health, a behavioral health managed care organization. Under her leadership, EPIC promoted the delivery of evidenced-based practices throughout community mental health and substance use services in Philadelphia. She has experience leading the implementation of multiple evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and more. Dr. Rubin partnered with service recipients, direct service providers, policymakers, and researchers on policy, fiscal, organizational and workforce development strategies to implement innovative practices. She was also instrumental in developing trainings, quality standards and new payment strategies for providers delivering evidence-based practices. In 2015, she received a DBHIDS Transformation Champion Award for Innovations & Improvements in Service Delivery. Her collaborations with implementation science researchers have led to several academic journal publications and conference presentations. She received her BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University, her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
